The RV Dream That Changed My Perspective

Last night, I had a dream that we bought a brand-new 2026 Class C RV. I remember feeling so relieved because it meant no more repairs, no more constant stress trying to fix things just to keep moving. We would finally be free to focus on creating content, telling stories, making music, and ministering to people instead of constantly worrying about what would break next.

But then something happened.

The RV got stolen.

Just like that, all the dreams, plans, and security I thought I had were gone. Then someone in the dream told me a story about how the same thing had happened to them — and the person who stole their RV was someone connected to a friend’s company. It was heartbreaking.

When I woke up, it had me thinking deeply about wealth, possessions, and purpose.

One day, I might become rich, influential, or powerful. But what does any of it really matter in the end? I think about the state of America, and even hearing people like Elon Musk say things like, “I can’t save America.” Truthfully, he can’t even save himself — and neither can we. None of us can.

We all need Jesus.

I’m reminded of what Jesus said in Scripture: not to store up treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and thieves break in and steal, but instead to be rich toward God. Earthly wealth is temporary, but God is an unshakable treasure that lasts forever.

When we stand face to face with death, no amount of money, influence, fame, or power will be able to save us. Only Jesus can.

This life is temporary.

We need to get back to the basics of what truly matters: knowing Jesus and making Him known within our sphere of influence.
