Remember His Blessings

Remember what He’s brought you from, Remember what He’s done, He carried you through every storm, And never let you go. Remember when He made a way, When there was no way through, Remember all His faithfulness, His love has carried you. Remember His blessings, Remember His love, Lift up a thankful heart, Lift your eyes above. Remember His goodness, Remember His grace, A grateful heart defeats sin, When we seek His face. Adam saw the one wrong tree, Forgot the garden wide, Israel forgot the miracles, And wandered from His side. David saw what wasn’t his, Forgot what God had given, But worship turns our hearts again, And leads our eyes to heaven. Remember His blessings, Remember His love, Lift up a thankful heart, Lift your eyes above. Remember His goodness, Remember His grace, A grateful heart defeats sin, When we seek His face. Instead of browsing on the rooftop, Let’s be bowing in the temple. Instead of chasing empty promises, Let’s remember what is simple. God is good, God is near, God has helped us year by year. God is good, God is near, We will trust and persevere. Remember His blessings, Remember His love, Lift up a thankful heart, Lift your eyes above. Remember His goodness, Remember His grace, A grateful heart defeats sin, When we seek His face. Remember His blessings, Don’t forget His love. Remember His blessings, He’s enough, He’s enough.
